The Dormy House Hotel is based at West Runton near Cromer and ischerished by locals and tourists alike. The Dormy House hotel has long been known for its hugely popular carvery, amazing views and welcoming feel. In March 2018, after 35 years in the same family, the new owner took over Dormy House and plans to enhance the venue’s already established reputation for a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere with his own expertise, gained in the restaurant and hospitality trades in both London and Norfolk.

The Dormy House Hotel and B&B is all about relaxed, friendly dining and accommodation and food of the highest quality. We don’t tie you down to set mealtimes – if you’re passing by during a walk along the coast, pop in for a drink or a snack. Bring the dog! Or perhaps you’d prefer to book a carvery or a la carte meal, maybe preceded by cocktails in our newly refurbished bar area. Flexibility is really important to us; come and see us when you’re ready to eat — we serve food between 12pm and 9pm seven days a week.
The Dormy House Hotel has created a brand new enclosed outdoor dining terrace, meaning our guests and visitors can enjoy the amazing views over the cliffs without being buffeted by the sea breeze. Bring your friends or for a night out and have a few drinks as the sun goes down over the sea, or celebrate a family occasion with us in our restaurant or function rooms. We’ve got exciting plans, including extending the car park, building an orangery to really make the most of the views and also improving direct access from the hotel down to the beach itself – ideal for walkers and family days out.

As we buy all our ingredients locally and prepare them all in house, we can often meet your allergen requirements and preferences.
