Bars At The Britannia Pier
The Pier Tavern. Bright, lively, welcoming. A lively bar based at the front of the Pier, very popular with locals and holiday makers alike. Have a quiet drink during the day looking out over the sea front and party the night away in the late licensed bar with Karaoke and live DJs seven nights a week during the summer months, and weekends all winter. Families welcome. Long John’s. Enjoy a drink by the sea, or party through the night. Great Yarmouth’s premier night spot, very popular with locals, hen nights, birthdays, etc. Licensed til 3:45am, live DJs entertain a packed house every weekend throughout the year. From April til October holiday makers and locals enjoy a drink in the the sun in our large outdoor seating area overlooking the sea and beach. Direct access to the theatre allows you to enjoy a pre-show or after-show drink in the large showbar.
Long John’s Lounge. Relax in style. A stylish bar adjoining Long John’s, the Lounge offers a more chilled atmosphere for late night party goers. During the day direct access to the Fun Fair means you can sit and enjoy teas, coffees, cakes, muffins etc whilst watching your children enjoy all the rides on offer.Amusements
There are some wonderful games and amusements at the Britannia Pier including: Pushers – Edge the coins forward to win sweets, toys, novelties and more. Casino Areas – Our two Casino Areas house high-steaks fruit machines with jackpots of up to £500. Britannia Pier has some great attraction for all ages including: Fire Station – Use the water guns to hit the targets and put out fires, but be careful – sometimes it squirts back! Super Trucks – radio controlled fun – test your skills as you hitch up a trailer and guide your truck through obstacles. Junior Driving – Let your child take the wheel on the Junior Driving. These ride-on bikes and cars are suitable for children aged 3 and up. Kiddie Rides – There are loads of coin operated Kiddie Rides located around the pier – ride the Play Bus, get a lift from Bob the Builder, go on an adventure with the Tweenies, Noddy or Brum and many more.

Don’t forget The Britannia Pier rides – Giant Slide – Pay once and rides for as long as you like on the massively popular Giant Slide. Dodgems – Pit yourself against your friends on the Dodgems. Children can ride too, if accompanied by an adult. Carousel – No fair ground is complete without a carousel – our traditional, old fashioned one is popular with riders of all ages. Venture River – There’s something that children adore about playing with water, and they’ll love paddling themselves around the venture river (with a little assistance from some pumps, of course). Formula One – Children love the choice of cars available on the Formula One – race cars, bikes, a truck and even a bus! Ghost Train – Another fairground staple, half the thrill of the Ghost Train is just plucking up the courage to get on it. Do you dare? Cups and Saucers – Get spun silly on the Cups and Saucers – suitable for adults and children alike. Junior Driving – Let your child take the wheel on the Junior Driving. Places To Eat On The Britannia Pier and Theatre
The Sea Chef Restaurant – Located at the front of the Pier, the Sea Chef Restaurant serves good quality traditional fish and chips (including a children’s option), as well as a full menu featuring burgers, salads, baguettes paninis, all-day full English breakfast and more. Seafood Bar – Situated beside the Upper Arcade, the Seafood Bar serves a wide variety of seafood including cockles, muscles, whelks, prawns, jellied eels and more. Grab your favourite or treat yourself to a seafood platter or prawn cocktail. American Burger Bar – Located right on the sea front, the American Burger Bar serves up great tasting burgers and hotdogs.
