The Grove Glamping Cromer
The Grove Glamping started in 2015, with Ruth Anderson, nee Graveling, partner of The Grove Cromer, decided to invest in her own glamping business. Since then, The Grove Glamping has gone from strength to strength and from glam to glammer. There is now a range of five and six metre traditional Mongolian yurts; three yurts that sleep four people, one that sleeps six and a six-meter yurt that sleeps eight people.
At The Grove Glamping site, the Mongolian yurts, which have oak doors, are surrounded by a wooden lattice with a window looking up to the stars. Each is fitted with all your creature comforts, guaranteed to make your stay a home-away-from-home.At The Grove Glamping venue each yurt has a double bed with a proper mattress and duvet as well as bunk beds, a wood burning stove so you can snuggle up and hunker down, low wattage 240-volt electricity (to charge phones and stay in touch with the real world) and each has its own undercover cooking and eating area with gas hobs, fridge and its own charcoal BBQ, if you fancy making your own sizzling sausages or burnt burgers.

The site itself is in a quiet corner of the garden with easy access to the pool and is a great safe place for kids to play and make friends. The five yurts are huddled around a fire pit, which has a convivial atmospheric feel in the evenings. All yurts are fully kitted out with everything for your stay, you will need to bring towels, slippers and your swimming kit, to enjoy the free onsite pool. The washing up facilities provided include hot running water, but neither washing up liquid, dish-cloths nor tea towels are provided, so please remember to pack these It’s also worth bringing a torch as there is little light pollution on site. Tucked behind the pool, the yurts have their own washing up area, fire pits, hammocks, as well as benefiting from the short walk through our private woodland path to the award winning Cromer beach.
Many of The Grove Glamping guests enjoyed booking the whole glamping site for a few days with friends or family. The Glamping site can hold up to 26 people in its five yurts. To make your stay that bit easier and we can provide a variety of hampers, which can be pre-booked including cheese and wine, barbeque or breakfast. Of course, all the Grove Glamping facilities of The Grove are also available to our intrepid Glampers, so you can book one of our superb breakfasts, come in for dinner, swim in the pool then head back to your yurt for a cosy night’s sleep in ready-made-up beds; getting back to nature in style.

We believe the quality of produce available to us in Norfolk is the finest in the country, which is why all of our meat and fish is sourced from local suppliers including Graves Butchers and Cromer’s mighty crab fishing fleet.
The Grove Restaurant offers a choice of two restaurants for diners – the wood-panelled study and the original Georgian dining room. And new for summer 2020, The Grove is offering stone baked pizzas on the lawns, with a choice of locally sourced ingredients. As owner, Richard Graveling, says: “As a small restaurant we have the luxury of being able to give each individual dish real care and attention, which is what our guests really appreciate”.We also offer a pizza menu, from 5 until 6:00pm priced individually per dish, ideal for those who wish to eat early and families.
