Church Farmhouse B&B Guist near Dereham 

Church Farmhouse B&B at Guist  is located in the Breckland village of Guist (/ˈɡaɪst/), near to Sennowe Park with its magnificent House, and there is no B & B accommodation nearer.  Guist is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk, and had a population of 242 in 102 households at the 2001 census, including Twyford and increasing slightly to a population of 250 in 110 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the Upper Wensum Ward of Breckland District Council and the Elmham and Mattishall Division of Norfolk County Council.

A large part of the village belongs to the Sennowe Park Estate as does all the surrounding land. The estate belongs to the descendants’ of Thomas Cook who bought it in 1898.  At the crossroads of the A1067 and the B1110 is the estate Clock Tower, a distinctive landmark of the area. The old 1930 bridge on the B1110 to North Elmham was replaced by an eco-friendly new bridge in 2002. On the village green is an example of a brick kiln. The medieval church of St Andrew contains a “Green Man” carving on the pulpit.

We specialise in our breakfasts with cereals made uniquely by ourselves, followed by a Church Farmhouse bed and breakfast Full English Breakfast with dry cured bacon, sausages made here on the farm and home eggs.  Our breakfast will set you up for the day.  Church Farmhouse @ Guist B & B Accommodation has the rural advantage of being away from hot spots on the coast during the summer while also being no distance from them… you can easily go to the coast (five or so miles) or stay and enjoy some of the uncrowded tranquility of the Breckland Norfolk local area surrounding Guist.
