Hamptons Cafe at the Barn coffee shop and restaurant Bawdeswell is a great place to eat near Dereham and was established in 2011.  Hamptons Cafe at the Barn acquired new owners in the autumn of 2018 in the form of resident chefs Nicci and Sarah, who have put their own unique stamp on the restaurant with a revamped menu serving lovely food and drink and new stock in the shop.  Hamptons at the Barn is located outside the village of Bawdeswell in the leafy Norfolk countryside, Hamptons@thebarn offers freshly cooked food with a high level of service.  Hampton’s cafe is in a beautiful converted barn offers a fifty-seater restaurant with an adjoining terraced area of al fresco dining during the summer and on-site parking.  Hamptons cater for breakfast, lunches and afternoon teas with bespoke evening dining on Friday nights. On Sundays we offer a popular range of roast dinners, slow cooked in our vintage AGA, although booking is advisable.

Friday Dining at Hamptons at the Barn 

Hamptons Cafe at the Barn Friday Night Dining Experiences have proved to be very popular with our customers and the main place to eat near Dereham – old and new – since we staged our first evening back in 2018.  The menu changes each month and our dinners have enjoyed tastes from around the World including Mexican and Italian. We’ve also celebrated Burns Night and of course offered a romantic Valentines evening in February.  But we also like to mix things up a bit and inject a bit a fun.

Hamptons Cafe at the Barn crowd-pleasing Curry & Quiz and Burger & Bingo nights both sold out so we always recommend diners book early to avoid disappointment.
