Dereham Golf Club and Golf Course is set in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside at Dereham and you will find one of the best 9-hole golf courses in the region. Dereham Golf Club is a wonderfully manicured parkland course set in one of the warmest and sunniest districts of the UK. We are a friendly and sociable Members club that welcomes societies and visitors who wish to pay a green fee. Situated with the delightful North Norfolk coastline close by it is an ideal place to fit in a few holes whilst visiting the area. Dereham Golf Club can be found on the outskirts of the town of Dereham on the B1146 to Fakenham and Holt.
The Amazing Dereham Golf Club’s unique appeal as a 9-hole course is enhanced by 17 very different tee positions and that creates a challenge. A perfect example of this variation is the 5th hole which on the front nine is played at 432 yards, par 4, stroke index 1 whilst on the back nine it becomes the 14th, a par 5, 515 yards with a stroke index of 6. The course played as eighteen holes measures 6099 yards and is a challenge for all levels of competence so all comers benefit. The Club’s existence dates back to 1934 and has a comfortable, traditional style clubhouse which overlooks the first tee and the final green. There is a spacious lounge bar and a separate dining area where bar snacks and meals are available.

The wonderful Dereham Golf Club are a private members club, who welcome guests and visitors at all times. Comfortable, traditional style clubhouse overlooking the course. Well stocked bar and menu options available in a good size lounge with separate dining area. We have an active social scene with an extensive calendar of events. Our facilities are also licenced to cater for private functions and parties. Enthusiastic, young, resident pro and team, able to offer a range of tuition options, support and advice. A comprehensively stocked shop of golf equipment and accessories. If you are visiting the area, we are walking distance from the town centre and one of our club Sponsors, The George Hotel offers comfortable bed, breakfast and evening meal facilities.

Dereham Golf Club is a very friendly and welcoming Club and visitors enjoy the challenge of the nine-hole parkland course, that is fair to all standard of player, as well as the excellent hospitality of the Clubhouse. Visitors are welcome whether playing on a green fee or part of a society visit or on one of our Summer, Winter or Twilight deals.
Bar and Catering
Dereham Golf Club is a members club with a traditional club house on the outskirts of the town centre so it is personal. Make yourself comfortable in this friendly atmosphere, look out onto the course, relax after an enjoyable round of golf and in the summer sit outside on the patio and enjoy the warmth of your surroundings. Our bar staff will look after your every need with a wide range of beverages and snacks. We have an extensive selection of beers and wines on offer at competitive prices supplied by Greene King.
The Club can provide a bar menu for your enjoyment, both before or after your game, as well as a more extensive selection for a society or visitors meal by prior arrangement via the secretary’s office because we care. The Club offers a very active social scene, both on and off the course, details of which can be found in the Members area of the website.
