Sculthorpe Mill Restaurant and Bar is situated in Sculthorpe which is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. The village is situated about 2.5 miles north-west of Fakenham and 3.5 miles south-east of South Creake. The civil parish has an area of 8.52 km² and in 2001 had a population of 744 in 312 households, the population increasing to 751 at the 2011 census.

Welcome to Sculthorpe Mill, a beautiful and unique setting pub, restaurant and B & B in North Norfolk. We are a true hidden gem situated right on the river Wensum in a very picturesque area of special scientific interest.  Sculthorpe Mill is surrounded by wonderful bird and wildlife but only just outside Fakenham and a short distance from the stunning coast and local sites and attractions.  The 1086 Domesday Book lists three mills at Sculthorpe, with the current mill building finished in 1757. The main purpose of the mill was to mill corn for locals and farmers, and was active until around 1947.  Sculthorpe Mill  lay derelict for some years, until William Patrick Collins opened Sculthorpe Mill Country Club in 1965, and it’s been at the heart of the community ever since.

The Sculthorpe B & B rooms with pub bar are available 7 days a week.  Our rooms are upstairs on the 2nd floor. In this characterful mill we do have stairs, low ceilings and beams!  All our rooms are modern and have all the facilities required for a comfortable and great stay at the Sculthorpe Mill near Fakenham Norfolk.  Here at Sculthorpe Mill we want to be a real part of the local community and work with local businesses, artisan producers, farmers, fishermen/women, artists, organisations, attractions etc and do what we can to help.  At Sculthorpe Mill B and B, Restaurant, bar and gardens, we want to provide classics, soul food and worldwide flavours using fantastic local and seasonal produce, tasty authentic ingredients with fabulous herbs and spices in a homely, welcoming environment that fits whatever is your mood!

Sculthorpe Mill prides itself in growing as much vegetables and herbs in our garden.  Our main aim is to really provide the freshest, seasonal healthy tastes. We want to build a pizza oven, bbq and have our own smoker as well as being able to get to the point of selling our own marinades, dips and relishes!  The Sculthorpe Mill and the beautiful local and Norfolk area is truly wonderful.  We love the wildlife in the magnificent garden here and want to do what we can to maximise the benefits for birds (Hawk and Owl Trust is just across the fields), butterflies, bees, insects etc  and for the local ducks  and swans – the nearest neighbours!

At Sculthorpe Mill we have regular events including: Murder Mystery’s Nights, Quiz and Supper Nights, Afternoon Teas, Food Theme Nights.  Don;t forget our Christmas dinners and our wooded beamed Sculthorpe Mill restaurant and our function room.  Sculthorpe Mill is perfect for events, functions, special occasions and celebrations including: Christmas parties, New Years Eve and Day, birthday party’s, christenings, engagement party’s, anniversary party’s, hen nights, stag dos, charity nights, wakes, business conferences, engagement parties, golf parties and many more.
