The Nelson Museum Great Yarmouth Norfolk is the only museum dedicated solely to telling the story of our national hero, Lord Horatio Nelson and the times in which he lived.

At The Nelson Museum you can discover what Life was like below decks for the men who served in the Navy at that time. You can relax in the picnic area of the Maritime Courtyard and admire the Georgian herb garden with all its beauty and smells. There is excellent content and presentation which is highly thought provoking. An experience to be long remembered.’

You will learn about ‘Nelson the man’ and the women he loved in our newly re-presented exhibition all at the Nelson Museum Great Yarmouth. And make sure you Don’t miss the two original cannons from Nelson’s era, Nelson’s Naval Career and his terrible wounds and illnesses. Incredibly beautiful pieces of the collection include a piece of Nelson’s hair and a stunning life mask taken of the man himself.
