Ready-doodled creations by our expert team. You’ll find exclusively decorated and handmade gifts and ready to wrap.
Doodle Pots Ceramic cafe is located in the beautiful Georgian town of Holt Norfolk. Doodle Pots is the ideal place for you to create truly unique items you will treasure forever. We are open to all ages and abilities. You can create special gifts using your little ones hand, foot or fingerprints; paint pottery and choose your own item to paint. In fact there is sooo much you can do that we are a great family day out destination whether your local or just visiting Norfolk.

The Doodle Pots HoltTeam – Doodle Pots is a family run business that was started by Caroline and Dennis. All of the Doodle family have been involved in the business, from helping to run the studio, to shop redesign and sample painting! Doodle Pots also supports three other local families through full-time and part-time employment.
Caroline – Owner – Caroline worked as a studio assistant whilst at University. The previous owner of Doodle Pots presented the opportunity to take on the shop, & Caroline jumped at the chance! Caroline is currently on part-time maternity leave with Doodle Baby Willow but you will still see her in the studio most weeks. Charlie – Studio Manager – Our studio manager, who runs the shop day-to-day, takes baby prints and does the majority of our beautiful artwork. She is also our Glaze Goddess at the moment and is a mean kiln Tetris player! Charlie is a pro at getting little ones to open their hands for our baby print pottery. She also talks fluent “baby”, a skill we all develop at some stage.
Jill – The Mum of the Doodle Pots family. Jill is often helping out at the studio to bring new ideas and paint some of the items for retail. Jill is behind our obsession with fingerprints. (we love creating things from these colourful little marks!) Hailli – Studio Assistant – Haili is a very very talented painter and has created many beautiful gifts in the studio. She also has a fantastic business, Big Bad Wolf Dog Walking, where she makes many furry friends! Our lovely part-time studio assistants are always on hand to help out and provide advice on how to tackle your pot. They are super friendly and pro painters.
Dennis – The Dad of the Doodle Pots family. Dennis helps out in the background (doing the boring bits, like accounting!) and generally does a lot of running around! Cat – Studio Assistant – Cat is a local mum who loves coming to work as a Doodle! She is the friendliest person you will ever meet and is super organised, keeping the studio clean and tidy. Our lovely part-time studio assistants are always on hand to help out and provide advice on how to tackle your pot. They are super friendly and pro painters.
Visit Us – Come and enjoy some creativity – Our studio has the capacity for 24 painters spread over two floors. We offer a selection of cold drinks and hot drinks from our espresso machine. Open daily for walk-in sessions during school holidays (term-time opening can vary). Opening times: Tuesday – Saturday: 10am – 5pm (closed Sundays & Mondays). We are open Mondays during the school holidays.
