Hunstanton Golf Club Hunstanton
Located on the beautiful North West Norfolk coast, Hunstanton Golf Club is a superb championship links course.
The Hunstanton Golf Course is rated as one of Britain & Ireland’s ‘Top 100’ courses and we are very proud of this fact. Golfers have walked the rolling fairways nestling in a stunning landscape of dunes, sands and links grasses for over 125 years. Hunstanton Golf Course overlooks The Wash, Hunstanton and is the only golf course on the east coast of England where the sun sets over the sea, providing magnificent views both in the summer and winter.
For something different why not have your small events, functions, special occasions and celebrations and we can host many different occasions including: wedding receptions, mothers day, christenings, hen nights and stag dos, Valentines meals, birthday parties, engagement and anniversary parties, wakes and funeral teas, Christmas parties, New Years Eve parties, business meetings and many more.
The wonderful Golf Club and Course for everybody
History
Hunstanton Golf Club was founded in 1891. During the Club’s 125 year history, it has hosted more than forty events of national standing including twelve British & English Ladies Amateur Championships, five Brabazon Trophies and three English Amateur Championships.
The Boy’s Amateur Championship has been played here twice and the Carris Trophy held for the first time in 2016. See Honours Board for a complete list of national events stretching back to 1914.
History on the 16th Hole at Hunstanton Golf Club – Perhaps the most notable feat occurred in the Eastern Counties Foursomes in 1974. Bob Taylor, a Leicestershire County player, holed in one on three successive days at the 189 yard par three 16th hole. You can see Bob being interviewed by Bernard Gallagher about his never to be repeated achievement on our website.
Whether your local or just visiting Hunstanton and Norfolk there will always be a friendly welcome our Golf Club. We hope to see you soon.
