Phoenix House B&B Started its life as two farm worker cottages, it stayed that way until the 1970’s, when it was turned turned into one property and named after the Phoenix Breck,an area of woodland and pasture close by. In 2011 the house was renovated and extended and turned into the beautiful character house it is today. Being so close to the Famous Peddars Way this makes Phoenix House a firm favourite with walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike. The Peddars Way is the Ancient Roman route from Thetford to the North Norfolk coast and has always been a key place to explore.
Phoenix House B&B always look after our guests to the highest standard possible. And for that extra we have a heated swimming pool for guest use and included in the standard rate. At Phoenix House we can also accommodate touring caravans so just call ahead to ensure a space is available.

Whilst still retaining many charming and characteristic features it is a very special house and a much loved home. Phoenix House B&B is where guests can experience a sense of history alongside many modern day comforts. We have two kingsize rooms and one double room for guest accommodation; all are en-suite or with private bathroom, freeview T.V., Super fast fibre Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities.
One room can be set up as twin beds if preferred. There is a separate bathroom, should anyone wish to relax in the large roll top bath and soak away their cares. Norfolk is a county renowned for its home-grown food and we know you won’t be disappointed here at Phoenix House. We strongly believe in using only the very best ingredients; fresh, free-range, home made food using locally-grown produce. We offer a lovely breakfast menu from the traditional Full English to Kippers with Poached eggs – the choice is yours!
