The Swan Inn Mattishall Pub Dereham
Pete and Sonia would like to welcome you to The Swan Inn Mattishall near Dereham Norfolk, a lovely Breckland village lying in the center of Norfolk and only four miles from Dereham and eleven miles from the historic city of Norwich, just off the A47. An interesting historical fact is that there has been a pub on this site for a few hundred years. The current Swan pub was built in about 1937 after fire destroyed the original building. The currents Swan pub was took over in August 2014 after it had been shut for nearly 2 years. The Swan at Mattishall has since under gone a complete refurbishment and finally opened its doors again on October 11th 2014
The Swan Inn Mattishall near Dereham is a traditional local village pub with a lively bar serving real ales, premium lagers and a selection of fine wines to suit all tastes. At The Swan Freehouse we serve an extensive Grill and Burger Menu with 11 different flavoured burgers and all are made to order. The Swan always has a Pie of the Day, again Homemade,and a specials board that changes regularly The Swan caters for individuals, families and larger parties and making a booking is always advisable if you are a large group or wish to book a birthday party, children’s party, christening, wedding reception, Christmas party or New Year celebrations.. We also have a large garden – perfect to relax in during the summer,with a large Patio partly covered and ample parking.

As well as implementing a social distancing policy we have installed sanitising stations around the pub and sanitiser is available at all of our tables. Swan Inn Mattishall Restaurant – We have a fantastic menu in our restaurant, perfect for all of your needs. From good ole fashioned pub grub, to steaks, burgers and even some lighter options for if your feeling peckish. We are happy to cater for all dietary requirements, all you have to do is ask.
Sky Sports – The Swan Inn show all of the main event games on Sky Sports live. So whether your a football fan, enjoy the cricket or even the racing, we have got you covered. BT Sports – Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten the matches that aren’t shown on Sky Sports, we have BT Sport available to ensure you never miss a game. Pool table – We have a full size pool table just waiting for you to show your stuff. Feel free to challenge any of our staff to a game, we love a challenge. Dart board – We have a Dart board up in our games area. Practice solo or challenge your friends to a match or two.
Spacious beer garden – The Swan Inn Mattishall have a lovely raised decking area, as well as a large grassed area which is ideal to let the children play in, secured with a gate to the car park and plenty of seating so if you feel like a drink in the sun then please feel free. Gin and Cocktail Palace – Ready for those summer days and nights? So are we! We have put in an outside Gin and Cocktail Palace with an array of scrummy Gins to try and refreshing cocktails.
Regular entertainment – No, we don’t mean laughing at us behind the bar, we mean real entertainment. We host regular music nights, karaoke, live singers, disco’s, themed nights, medium nights and much, much more. So make sure you keep a close eye on our ‘events’ section for or upcoming entertainment.
