The story of Dotty Pottery Norwich is one of two friends who share a love of pottery. Rebecca and Pippa met whilst working at a ceramic painting studio in Norwich and quickly bonded over their love of creating beautiful gifts. When their employer closed the shop they decided to open their own studio. This is how Dotty Pottery was born. Opening its doors in 2012 when Pippa bought a small kiln, the business was a mobile studio that traveled to customers houses as well as to craft fairs and shows.

Due to current restrictions, we are offering our Take away Caddies. We provide a caddy with easy to follow instructions and all the equipment you will need to create a masterpiece away from our studio. Due to current restrictions we are offering our Take away Caddies so you can paint in the comfort of your own home.
Dotty Pottery Norwich provide a caddy with easy to follow instructions and all the equipment you will need to create a masterpiece away from our studio. We charge a £30.00 cash damage deposit for each caddy borrowed and this is fully refunded on the return of a complete undamaged caddy (minus paint of course!) each caddy can be used for groups of between 8-10 painters.
Take away pottery experience at Dotty Pottery
Dotty Pottery Norwich charge a £3.00 studio fee per person painting plus the price of the ceramics chosen. Prices can be found on our FB page. You can pay for your order and studio fee by card over the phone in advance or in the studio when you collect ( we ask that the £30.00 damage deposit is paid in cash) We will then organise a time for you to collect your caddy along with your ceramics as well as arrange a time for you to bring your painted ceramics back along with the caddy (at which point your damage deposit will be returned to you, providing nothing is missing or broken).
We will then glaze and fire your ceramics and will arrange with you a date and time when your ceramics are ready to be collected and book you in. We ask all customers to arrive promptly to avoid any overlap. Due to social distancing we can only allow one customer in the studio at any one time to choose pottery so please do not come in a group to choose. We politely ask that once in the studio you adhere to social distancing guidelines and use sanitiser provided.
Dotty Pottery Shop Norwich – The Dotty Pottery studio is located at White House Farm. The studio has the capacity for up to 12 people inside with an additional 8 space outside (weather permitting) for people to paint. There is an onsite café which can offer hot and cold refreshments which can be consumed in the Dotty Pottery studio whilst you paint. Dotty Pottery are always on hand to offer support and advice with your creations. There are a number of other amenities at this lovely little complex, including a cafe, farm shop, hair dressers and dance studio.

Wonderful Pottery Birthday Parties for children
Childrens Dotty Pottery Party Prices are £16.00 per child – Included in the price: 1 x Animal model to paint per child or 1 x Plate, Mug or Bowl per child – Party Decorations – Birthday plate for birthday boy/girl – Studio fees. What is included in a Children’s Pottery Party? – Our kids parties includes an item to paint such as animals i.e. monkeys, dragons, unicorns, cats, dogs, butterflies as well as a small plate or bowl, or character mugs or tile. Also included in the party package are: studio fees for each child, Party decorations and a birthday plate with the hand print of the birthday girl/boy and finger prints of all the guests.
Parents are welcome to bring additional decorations and of course cake!! We ask for a non refundable deposit of £5.00 pp to secure the booking as well as a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions the recommended minimum age for our parties is Age 6. The minimum number for a party is 6 participants and the maximum is usually 10 (due to Covid restrictions the maximum is currently 6 including any adults attending). See FAQ for more details.
