About The Gin Trap Inn Hunstanton is a traditional and cosy 17th-century coaching inn and has a long and interesting history. It has been a public house since 1668 and the date 1667 can be found on one of the walls of the former farmhouse.
The Gin Trap Inn Ringstead Hunstanton B&B and evening meal accommodation offers thirteen gloriously individual, yet equally beautiful rooms and cottages (two of which are luxurious suites in our newly renovated stables) All Gin Trap Inn rooms are furnished in a luxury, rustic style; in keeping with the original charm and features of a coaching inn. Lets not forget the Gin Trap self catering cottage, situated behind our Gin garden, the original brew house to the coaching inn is now a gorgeous two bed roomed, two bath roomed cottage with its own lounge, kitchen and courtyard facilities. Our idea of heaven and we are very proud of this little beauty.! The Gin Trap Inn Ringstead can accommodate events, functions, special occasions and celebrations including: Birthday parties, children’s parties, anniversary’s. engagements, wedding receptions, christenings, hen nights, stag nights, christmas parties, new years parties and much more. BLOOM – Bloom boasts a stylish and fresh décor with a charming en-suite corner shower bathroom, large super king bed and stunning feature headboard. BOODLES – Opulent single room with a gorgeous hide headboard and sloping ceiling, delightful en-suite which includes a free standing, cast iron bath. BOTANIST – The Botanist is traditionally and tastefully decorated with a sprawling en-suite which includes a free standing, cast iron bath and a separate shower.
BROCKMANS – Sumptuous super king size brass bed with antique furniture and sprawling en-suite. Includes a free standing, cast iron bath and a separate shower. THE LOFT – Located on the first floor of our stable block, the loft is a true hideaway with exposed beams, large king size brass bed and delightful en-suite bathroom. HIDEOUT – A cosy ensuite with a garden terrace. THE PASTURE – A cosy ensuite with a garden terrace. THE WARREN – A cosy ensuite with a garden terrace. THE GALLERY – A beautiful suite featuring original artwork, gorgeous king size bed, a free-standing cast iron bath and separate shower en-suite. THE STABLES – This suite boasts a king size bedroom, free-standing bath and separate shower en-suite. Downstairs is a cosy lounge area with original features.

Gin Trap Inn Menus and Food. SIMPLER, SAFER MENUS – In the current climate we’re still not able to offer a full menu selection, but we believe there’s something at The Gin Trap for everyone. What’s more we will introduce new dishes on a weekly basis. OUR MENUS ARE DRIVEN BY SIMPLICITY AND DETAIL – Head Chef Stuart Wyllie’s menus are driven by simplicity and detail, his talent is reflected in each dish, truly valuing the very best our local area has to offer. Stuart and his team mirror the hard work of our local suppliers in the craft and creativity used to create their innovative and memorable dishes.
