Swaffham Golf Club Swaffham Norfolk
Swaffham Golf Club was established in 1922 as a 9 hole course. In September 2001 an additional 9 holes were opened, which transformed the course into an attractive and demanding 18 holes. Most of the new holes were carved out of an area of mature woodland and have blended well with the older part of the course. Being on Breckland the course remains well drained and on main greens when many other courses in the region are very muddy or closed.
Swaffham Golf Club is a very friendly club, with a wide range of Mens, Seniors, Ladies and Mixed competitions. A similar range of friendly fixtures are played against clubs throughout the county. The club also enters teams in all the county league and knock-out competitions. Since becoming 18 holes, notable successes have been the winning of the Cullington Cup, a mens county knock-out competition in 2002 & 2004, and at the first attempt, the winning of the Ladies County Scratch League in 2003. The quality of Swaffham Golf Clubs 18 hole course is such that we host several corporate days, county fixtures and open days. Norfolk Charities regularly make Swaffham Golf Club their choice of venue for their fund raising golf days.

Swaffham Golf Club Membership Fees
Becoming a Member – Swaffham Golf Club is a very friendly club with active Mens, Seniors, Ladies and Juniors sections. Each section hosts various competitions and all members are welcome to participate. Becoming a member is a very simple process. Please contact the club office for an application form. Membership costs: All categories of membership are subject to affiliation fees to Norfolk and England Golf, these are currently: Men £20.00 and Ladies £16.50. Juniors (under 18) £15.00.

Great value membership for only £350 a year enabling as many as 36 rounds of golf and select member privileges. This membership is for the golfer who enjoys golf but can’t justify time or expense of a full membership. A flexible membership is the answer. Receive the benefits of membership in the form of the price you pay per round, holding a handicap, member discounts and playing in selected competitions, whilst also having the ability to use your membership at other courses.

Clubhouse
Swaffham Golf Club Clubhouse is now open. We are pleased to announce that following the lifting of government restrictions for Covid-19 our clubhouse is now open for food and drinks. There are new procedures to follow but our staff will talk you through these. Our light and bright clubhouse offers comfortable surroundings and a warm welcome to all members and visitors alike.
Swaffham Golf Club Club House for functions
The well stocked bar and catering facilities offer a wide range of snacks, meals and beverages to the hungry or thirsty golfer. Bar opening Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5pm Sundays 10am to 5pm. Food service: Takeaway service starts from 8.30am Monday to Saturday. Food served until 4pm Monday to Saturday. Light snacks available on Sundays. *Prebooked catering is available outside of these times.
