The Angel Pub Swanton Morley is a traditional English country pub in the Norfolk village of Swanton Morley. The Angle is a grade 2 listed building and the oldest part dates back to 1610. The Angel Pub main bar has a low ceiling with original beams which have English hops hanging from them. The large open fire gives a very warm welcome to customers in those dark cold winter months. The Angel has a reputation for serving a top quality choice of fine cask ales. Reasonably priced traditional pub food is served everyday (excluding Sunday evening). Why not pop into The angel and enjoy a pint and we are one of the few pubs in the area open all day.

The Angel Pub Swanton Morley serve a wide variety of traditional pub food, from ham, egg and chips to steak & kidney pudding, as well as sandwiches, baguettes, jackets and salads. Please download a copy of The Angel Pub menu by clicking here . As well as The Angel normal menu, we also serve a variety of specials (please see the blackboard on the day), as well as kids and vegetarian options and desserts. The Angel has a great Sunday Carvery Roast offering which is Beef and at least one other meat available (pork, chicken, lamb shank, for example), served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a variety of seasonal vegetables. Served from 12 noon – 2 pm, subject to availability. Booking is advisable. Friday Night is Cod & Chips night. The Angel also has regular Themed Food Nights that have included: Steak Night, Curry Night, Chilli Night, Chinese Food Night, Greek Food Night and Mediterranean Food Night.
At The Angel, we often have a variety of events happening, the biggest of which are our beer festivals, held every Easter and November. Angel Easter Beer Festival held annually. The Angel Swanton Morley Quiz Night – We often hold quiz nights throughout the year to test our customer’s general knowledge (or lack thereof!). The Angel Swanton Morley Live Music – We often have live music on throughout the year. There will be live music during our next Easter beer festival. The Angel Swanton Morley Themed Food Nights – We occasionally hold themed food nights, such as Steak Night, Curry Night, Chilli Night, Chinese Food Night, Greek Food Night and Mediterranean Food Night. The Angel Swanton Morley Bowls – The Angel Swanton Morley Bowls Club play in the Dereham and Elmham leagues at The Angel bowls green, adjacent to the pub. They play from May to September each year. The Angel Swanton Morley Cricket – The Swanton Morley Cricket Club play at The Angel cricket ground next door to the pub most weekends throughout the summer. The Angel Swanton Morley are happy to host your event for you including: birthday parties, wedding receptions, christenings, engagement and anniversary parties, hen nights, stag nights, business meetings, charity nights and fundraisers, Christmas parties, New Years Eve parties and many more..
