Independent, family owned and very very different! Hillfield Nursery and Farm Shop is in the wonderful Norfolk countryside and Hillfield Nursery is set in 30 acres of beautiful land. Hillfield Nursery and farm Shop have an incredible, large and unique nursery selling premium quality plants with 19 different fruits to pick in season and 250 different apple varieties. Our farm shop is packed with hundreds of products.

The Hillfield Nursery – Our extensive nursery contains an unrivaled range of plants and garden ornaments. With our suppliers carefully chosen over decades of trading, you can find truly rare and unusual shrubs alongside all the garden favourites. Bedding and trailing plants – In the spring, we have a huge selection of bedding plants for your flower beds, baskets, pots and wherever else you can find a home for them!
A few of our favourites… Geraniums – Geraniums are popular, incredibly versatile and look amazing, both indoors and outdoors. A great choice both for beginner and more experienced gardeners, these plants will add charm and character to any space and are ideal for baskets and beds. Petunias – Bedding Petunias are one of the nations favourite spring bedding plants. They are incredibly easy to grow, requiring minimal care, and are great for adding quick colour to your beds and baskets. Begonias – For use indoors and out, begonias are great little plants that will provide constant colour until the first frosts. Ideal for baskets and bedding areas.
Hillfield Nursery Farm Shop
Hillfield farm shop is open all year round, providing you with fresh, quality local produce. We stock a large selection of our own fruits and vegetables in season, including sprouting broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, plums, apples, strawberries, and much more. Inside the shop you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff, who are on hand to help you with any of your questions about our products in the shop or around the nursery.
Hillfield Apple Juice – Our orchards give us such an abundance of apples that we send off thousands every year to be pressed into our locally famous Hillfield Apple Juice and with all the unusual varieties we grow we will usually have between 20 and 30 different ones to choose from, ranging from sweet through to sharp – each with its own special characteristics. We also have our own Hillfield Honey from bees that are very busy.
Hillfield Farm Shop have a huge range of dried goods and products from our local wholesaler, Shire Foods. This includes assortments of nuts, dried berries and fruits. On our shelves you can also find Yare Valley oils, Mandy’s award winning pickles and chutneys, Borders quality Biscuits, Eggs from our local egg farm and local frozen meats including Beef, Pork, Lamb, Poultry and a large selection of wild game meats.

Gillingham Strawberry Stall – May – September Every Summer. See that big strawberry on the side of the A146 near Gillingham? That’s us! Gillingham stocks a fantastic range of local grown fruits, vegetables, sweet treats and our nurseries superior quality plants all through the best part of the year.
Kessingland Strawberry Stall – May – September Every Summer – Kessingland Strawberry stall is also a part of the Hillfield family. Its a little smaller than its sister in Gillingham, but equally well packed with our fantastic ranges of fruits, vegetables and plants. Located just off the A12 on Snab Hill, We’re very easy to spot here!Southwold Market – Feburary – December All Year – Occupying the flagship spot of the market of the prestigious seaside town of Southwold is our stall. Here, you can find a wide range of our shrubs, trees and bedding plants and an extensive range of our fruit and vegetables all year round.
